Johnna Earl is an Atlanta-based entertainment host for The Georgia Hollywood Review. She offers up a fresh angle and authentic vibe to interviews with local Georgia film, TV, music, and other entertainment industry professionals and rising stars above and below the line.
Hailing from New Jersey, Johnna relocated to Atlanta to study fashion design and marketing, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Atlanta InterContinental University. She has interned and assisted with an Atlanta celebrity stylist, learning the in’s and out’s of on-set etiquette, and has worked as a key stylist’s assistant on professional celebrity photoshoots. She is also a member of Women in Film and Television Atlanta (WIFTA), where she helped select films for the WIFTA Confab Short Film and Talent Showcase and gathered sponsorships for the WIFTA Gala.
Always seeking new insight and experiences in the entertainment industry, Johnna completed a Tammy’Dele Films Set Production Assistant Workshop at Atlanta Pinewood Studios. Other experiences include training with Celebrity Barber Wyatt Belton in his Movie Maker Mentors bootcamp, where she worked as an assistant for Emmy-nominated Hair Department Head Charles Yusko, stylist on Marvel TV series “The Gifted” and USA Network’s "Queen of the South."
Always broadening her scope and industry acumen, she has worked as an extra, landing a role in Season 5, Episode 1 of Greenleaf.
Johnna also hones her eye for design and style as owner of Exclusively Yours By JE (www.exclusivelyyoursbyje.com), a growing business that offers wardrobe styling and closet design services, where she counts several Georgia actors as clients.
Moving forward, Johnna plans to put her energy toward speaking with the men and women who are transforming the worlds of fashion, design, art, music, and film—continuing her personal transformation in the process.
