LaQuanda Plantt, Casting Director, founded ElleQ Casting in 2009. She has worked on numerous projects directed and produced by some
of the best in the business, including Ava Duvernay, Oprah, Adam Shankman, and Barry Jenkins. At the tender age of 14, LaQuanda wrote
the award winning essay, “What Black History Month Mean to Me”, that was inducted into the Congressional Record March 1994 and
twenty years later, she assisted with the casting on the Academy Award Winning Film, Selma. She has cast and/or produced films that have
aired on Amazon Prime, BET, Lifetime, Netflix & Showtime.
